With a diverse student demographic, The Active Learning Trust is committed to providing personalized learning experiences tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs, preparing them for success in an ever-changing world.

At our head office, we have a current staffing level of 1.0 FTE. Our Head of Data, Greg Dimsey, is responsible for providing a variety of reports for the central team and governance stakeholders, as well as offering support for academies. Additional support is available from academy admin staff as needed.

In our academies, primary and special schools receive support from admin staff within the academies, with additional support provided by the central team when required. Secondary schools have a Data Manager (DM) in each academy, although often not at full FTE due to other responsibilities grouped with the role. Currently, we use SIMS as our MIS provider, but we are exploring various options to support the growth of data maturity.
